We are hiring an enthusiastic dental asssitant and passionate hygienist to join our team for our opening June 2nd!

Registered Dental Hygienist (Full-Time)

Job Description: We seek a skilled and enthusiastic registered dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality dental care and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.​ Our office uses the latest technology, such as cloud-based software so that you can have conveniences such as voice charting. We value our hygienists and will give hour-long appointments for SRP and perio maintenance. New patient exams are 2 hours long.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient screenings, including assessment of oral health conditions, health history review, oral cancer screenings, and dental charting.​

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapies.​

  • Take dental radiographs.

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.​

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.​

  • Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.​

Appointment Scheduling:

  • Recare (routine cleaning) appointments: 1 hour.​

  • New patient appointments are 2 hours long (1 hour for radiographs, charting, and doctor exams; 1 hour for prophylaxis or SRP quadrant).

  • Scaling and Root Planing (SRP): 1 hour per quadrant.​

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Dental Hygiene license.​

  • Three years minimum experience preferred, open to the right candidate closer to graduation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.​

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.​

  • Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.

Compensation: $55 to $75 per hour with benefits below.  Specific compensation will be based on experience and qualifications; new graduates start at $55, but raises will be available based on performance reviews and tenure.

Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

Job Description: We seek a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality dental care and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients.​

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.​

  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.​

  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).​

  • Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.​

  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.​

  • Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.​

  • Schedule patient appointments.​

  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.​

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.​

  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program highly preferred.​

  • Current Washington State Dental Assistant registration.​

  • Proven experience as a dental assistant.​

  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.​

  • Understanding of health & safety regulations.​

  • Good computer skills.​

  • Excellent communication and people skills.​

  • Attention to detail.​

  • Well-organized and reliable.​

Compensation: $23-35 with benefits for full-time. Specific compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.​
