Dental insurance is a misnomer. It is a pre-paid benefit that offers a discount when an office contracts with an insurance provider. The limit on what the insurance company covers is relatively low, frequently denied despite medical necessity, and ultimately tarnishes the patient-provider relationship. While we currently are in-network with several insurances, we may choose to go out-of-network if we see your care adversely affected. Please feel free to ask Dr. Walczak more about this at your next appointment.

Your oral health is important, and regular dental visits are critical to maintaining it. We will offer an in-house membership plan that covers all of your exams, cleanings, and x-rays in a year and offers a 15% discount on our regular fees. While we are still finalizing the structure of these plans, there will be three tiers based on what is best for your teeth and gums. This is a great alternative to dental insurance, allowing appropriate and effective care that is best tailored for you, not what the insurance company dictates you need. There is a $350 initiation fee, which includes a comprehensive exam and x-rays. This will determine which plan is best for you.
